Sleek Apparels

From Our Floor in Dhaka to Your Door

Shipping is where first-time importers get surprised — so here is the whole picture: every method, real transit times, what FOB/CIF/DDP mean for your wallet, and the documents we prepare so customs is a non-event.

Choose Your Shipping Method

MethodTypical timeBest forCost profile
Express courier (DHL / FedEx / UPS)3–7 days door-to-doorSamples and orders up to ~100–150 kgHighest per-kg, but simplest — duties often collected by courier
Air freight5–10 days airport-to-airport (+ clearance)Urgent mid-size orders, launches with deadlinesMid — priced per kg with volumetric rules
Sea freight (LCL)25–35 days port-to-port + clearanceStandard bulk orders sharing a containerLow per-unit — the default for planned production
Sea freight (FCL)25–35 days port-to-port + clearanceFull container loads (roughly 8,000+ tees per 20ft)Lowest per-unit of all

A common pattern for launches: a small courier batch for your release date, with the bulk following by sea — we’ll split shipments like this whenever it helps your calendar.

Transit Times by Region

Door-to-door estimates from Dhaka, including typical handling. Sea times are port-to-port; add clearance and inland trucking for your city.

Incoterms, Translated Into Money

The three terms we quote most. Same goods, different split of cost and responsibility — pick based on how much logistics you want to own.

FOB (Free On Board)

We handle:
We produce, pack, clear export customs, and deliver to the vessel.
You handle:
You arrange and pay freight from Chattogram port, plus import clearance and duties.
Best for:
Experienced importers with their own freight forwarder — maximum control, usually lowest total cost.

CIF (Cost, Insurance & Freight)

We handle:
We pay freight and insurance to your destination port.
You handle:
You handle import clearance and duties once goods arrive at your port.
Best for:
Buyers who want us to handle the ocean leg but have a customs broker at home.

DDP (Delivered Duty Paid)

We handle:
We handle freight, insurance, import clearance, duties, and final delivery.
You handle:
Nothing — one all-inclusive price to your door.
Best for:
First-time importers and teams who want zero logistics admin. Slightly higher cost, zero surprises.

Deep dive: FOB vs CIF vs DDP — what you actually pay

Customs Documentation Checklist

Prepared by our export team for every shipment — you receive digital copies before goods move:

  • Commercial invoice (values, HS codes, terms)
  • Packing list (cartons, weights, dimensions)
  • Bill of lading (sea) or airway bill (air/courier)
  • Certificate of origin
  • GSP / REX / preference declarations where your market grants reduced duty on Bangladeshi apparel
  • Any buyer-specific docs (FDA statements, fumigation, inspection certificates) — tell us at quoting

Tracking, at every stage

Courier shipments: door-to-door tracking number. Air/sea: airway bill or bill of lading plus milestone updates from our logistics team — booked, departed, arrived, cleared, delivered. You’re never guessing where your goods are.

Cargo insurance

Included automatically under CIF; a small optional add-on under FOB and courier terms (typically well under 1% of goods value). We quote it with real numbers so you can decide — for sea shipments we recommend it.

Amazon FBA & 3PL delivery

FNSKU labeling, carton compliance, and delivery appointments into FBA or your third-party warehouse — tell us the destination type when quoting and prep is built into your price.

Shipping details for your market

Transit times, duty treatment, and documentation differ by destination — each market page has the specifics.
