Manufacturing for the Gulf

Clothing, Uniform & Workwear Manufacturer for the Gulf

Businesses across the UAE, Saudi Arabia and the wider GCC can run uniform, workwear and streetwear programmes from 50 pieces per knitwear style, with production 12–15 days after sample approval. Chattogram–Jebel Ali is one of the shortest sea lanes we run at roughly 7–12 days, with air into DXB in 2–4 days. SABER/SASO conformity is prepared per shipment for Saudi entries. Quotes are door-to-door with freight included; duty and VAT are settled by you at clearance.

The Gulf runs on uniforms — hospitality, retail, security, facilities management, and corporate teams across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Riyadh, Jeddah, and the wider GCC reorder branded apparel at a scale few markets match. Alongside that, the region's streetwear and modest-fashion labels want the same heavyweight cotton and custom finishing our other markets do.

Bangladesh is unusually well placed to serve it: the Chattogram–Jebel Ali lane is one of our shortest, Jeddah and Dammam are close behind, transit and time zones are near (two to three hours), and we run Gulf accounts as disciplined programs — locked specs, embroidery held across reorders, and buffer stock for new staff.

Saudi Arabia is the Gulf's largest market and gets its own import discipline, not a copy of the UAE playbook. Vision 2030 has made the Kingdom one of the world's busiest sources of uniform and workwear demand — giga-projects, hospitality, retail, security, and FM contractors reordering at scale — and every Saudi shipment needs SABER/SASO conformity filed before arrival or it does not clear. We prepare it per shipment. The duty and VAT position differs too: read the note below before you model a Saudi landed cost against a UAE one.

the Gulf: currently making Outdoor & event season 2026/27

The Gulf runs on an event, hospitality and site calendar rather than a weather one — the season that matters opens in October and peaks through the winter expo and tournament run.

Next up: Hot season 2027

The switch to hot-weather kit falls on , which shifts the mix to breathable uniform and workwear — the indoor and site-crew months. Sea freight for it needs the order confirmed by 11 Mar 2027. Development and sampling sit in front of production, so most buyers open that conversation a month before the date.

Order-by dates assume the slow end of every published range: 35 days from order to shipment, plus the longest transit we quote on that lane. Washed and garment-dyed programmes add 3–5 days, and custom knit adds 7–10 days — order ahead of the date if yours includes either.

Duties & import costs

The whole GCC applies the common external tariff (around 5%) on apparel — there is no duty-free preference for Bangladesh as there is in the UK or EU, so no supplier can offer you one. VAT is where the two big markets diverge and where landed-cost models go wrong: the UAE charges 5%, Saudi Arabia 15%. Saudi imports additionally require SABER/SASO conformity for clearance, which we prepare with every shipment and include in the unit price. Our price covers freight to your door and, for Saudi orders, the conformity documentation; the GCC duty and VAT are paid by you at clearance and shown separately on the quote so nothing is buried. We do not offer DDP.

What does a the Gulf sourcing programme cost?

Quotes in USD by default — both the AED and the SAR are pegged to the dollar, so there is effectively no conversion risk. Approximate examples at moderate volume: embroidered polos from ~AED 26–52 / SAR 26–52 per piece, corporate tees ~AED 13–24 / SAR 13–24, hoodies ~AED 40–75, hi-vis workwear ~SAR 30–60 (FOB).

Currency examples are approximate conversions at recent exchange rates — quotes fix the exact figure.

What is included in the Gulf programmes?

  • Hospitality & corporate uniform programs: locked specs, reorder consistency, buffer stock for new hires
  • SABER/SASO conformity documentation prepared before shipment so Saudi customs clears cleanly
  • Construction & FM workwear: hi-vis, reinforced seams, reflective tape, coverall programs
  • Arabic/English care and content labeling; modest-fit and longer-length options on request
  • Event & expo merch with deadline-backward scheduling for launch dates
  • Multi-site program management across the UAE and the Kingdom from one locked spec

What do the Gulf procurement teams ask?

Do you run uniform programs across multiple Gulf sites?

Yes — that is our core Gulf model. One locked spec and embroidery standard, scheduled bulk production, and door-to-door delivery split to multiple properties or a central store, with buffer stock so new staff are never waiting on kit. It works the same way across the UAE and across the Kingdom — Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, or a single national warehouse.

Do you handle SABER / SASO conformity for Saudi imports?

Yes — it is built into every Saudi order. We prepare the SASO conformity documentation and product information Saudi customs requires through the SABER platform, so your shipment clears without the hold-ups that catch suppliers who leave it to the buyer. UAE shipments do not need it.

How fast can stock reach Dubai, Riyadh, or Jeddah?

The Gulf lanes are our shortest. To the UAE: 2–4 days by courier, 3–5 by air, roughly 7–14 days by sea to Jebel Ali. To Saudi Arabia: 3–5 days by courier, 4–6 by air, roughly 10–16 days by sea to Jeddah or Dammam. Both beat Europe, the US, and Australia. Many clients air a launch batch and sea the balance the same week.

What are the real duties and taxes into the UAE and Saudi Arabia?

The GCC customs duty of around 5% applies in both, and unlike the UK or EU there is no preference for Bangladesh. VAT differs: 5% in the UAE, 15% in Saudi Arabia — a difference big enough to change which market you stock first. Duty and VAT are paid by you at clearance; our unit price covers freight to your door and, for Saudi orders, the SABER/SASO conformity documentation, but not duty or VAT. Your clearing agent handles those and we supply every document.

Can you build hi-vis and construction workwear to a safety spec?

Yes — it is a large part of what we make for the Kingdom. Reinforced seams, reflective tape, coverall programs, and hi-vis built to the requirement you give us. Tell us the standard your contract is written against and we will build and document to it; what we will not do is claim a certification we do not hold, so if your contract requires third-party certified garments you should say so at quote stage.
