Decoration is additional: roughly USD 1.50 per piece for screen printing and USD 1.65 for embroidery, single placement. Woven uniform pieces — shirts, trousers, skirts, blazers — are quoted against your specification rather than from a list, because construction drives their price far more than fabric does.

Questions schools ask before committing a programme
- What is the minimum order for school uniforms?
- Our standard minimum is 50 pieces per style for knitwear — t-shirts, hoodies, polos, sweatshirts, joggers — rising to 100 in peak season. Woven garments start at 300 pieces per style. Colours can usually be split within a single design, so a 50-piece run does not have to mean 50 identical units. For a school that matters most where the two constructions meet: crested polos, PE tops and sweatshirts are knitwear and run on the lower minimum, while shirts, trousers, skirts and blazers are woven and start at 300 pieces per style.
- Can a school buy directly from a manufacturer?
- Yes, and for a school of reasonable size it removes the importer and retailer margins from every garment. It also moves work onto the school — forecasting sizes, holding stock, and handling distribution to parents. - How much do custom school uniforms cost?
- Knitwear is published as indicative CIF pricing — a kid's t-shirt from $9.50 and a heavyweight hoodie from $14.50, freight included and duties excluded — plus roughly USD 1.50 per piece for screen printing or USD 1.65 for embroidery. Woven uniform pieces are quoted against your specification, because construction drives their price far more than fabric does.
- Will next year's order match this year's uniform?
- Colour and crest specifications are held on file, so a repeat order is produced against the same standard rather than re-matched by eye. This is the main practical argument for buying direct: continuity is controlled by you and us, not by whatever a retailer chose to stock that season.
- How long does a school uniform order take?
- Bulk production runs 12–15 days for orders up to 2,000 pieces, counted from approved sample and confirmed deposit. Allow 25–35 days end to end, since sampling and approval come first. Peak season can extend this — we confirm dates at order confirmation. Plan a school programme against the end-to-end figure rather than the production one — a uniform that arrives after the first day of term has failed however fast the line ran.
- Are your school garments certified?
- Our facility is BSCI certified — an audited social-compliance standard covering labour conditions, safety, and working hours. We do not hold WRAP, OEKO-TEX, GOTS, GRS, or ISO certification, and we will tell you so rather than imply otherwise. School programmes also carry needle detection on finished garments as standard, and every order ships against an AQL 2.5 inspection photo report you approve first.
- Do you deliver duties paid (DDP)?
- No. We ship door-to-door with freight included in the unit price. Import VAT and duties in the destination country are paid by the buyer — this is not DDP. We state this plainly because a school budgeting on a "duties paid" assumption discovers the difference at customs, which is the worst possible moment.
- What are the payment terms?
- Payment is 50% before production starts and the remaining 50% before shipment. No credit terms on a first order.
